Decatur

Decatur is known for its craftsman bungalows and cottages in neighborhoods like Oakhurst, Winnona Park, and the Great Lakes streets. These older homes often hold layers of paint that need careful scraping and priming, while updated additions with large, open walls show every lap mark. We plan the prep and product for the house in front of us.

On exterior jobs we start with washing and scraping, repair soft trim and sills, re-caulk, and spot-prime before finish coats. Mature tree cover is common in town, so we treat mildew on shaded walls before painting rather than covering it.

Inside, we paint room by room so you can keep living at home, with floors and furniture covered and the work area cleaned up each day. Every Decatur job starts with a free written estimate.
